Virgin Media tech support wasn't helpful. however, I have manged to solve this problem with a help of friend by doing below. (preferred DNS server address 8.8.8.8—please see below screen shot). after changing the setting restart. Windows. Go to the Control Panel. Click Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Changeadapter settings.
